Director Rajkumar Santhoshi has signed Shahid for his next movie. The film is based on a romantic comedy. Director Santoshi, known mostly for making films with socio-political themes, is now eager to explore a genre he hasn’t tried so far. Shahid plays the leading role. In this film his co-star is the gorgeous Katrina Kaif.

The obvious question that arises is – Is the film about a young guy in love with a mature woman? But Santhoshi is not ready to divulge any details about the story. But he states that he found Shahid and Katrina perfectly suited for the roles.

For the first time Shahid and Katrina are going to work together. Shahid’s ‘cold war’ with Katrina’s beau Salman Khan has been going for a long time, so it remains to be seen how they get along with each other on the sets.
