Bollywood Sexy Dhamaal News of the Week

Katrina Kaif sister has come into Bollywood RACEIsabel, a young starlet from the United Kingdom, is bent upon gatecrashing into Bollywood. But why is Salman Khan equally bent upon helping her out? It would be natural for anyone maybe, not only for Salman, to play godfather to a sexy young thing especially if she has a striking resemblance to his steady Katrina (remember how he cast Sneha Ullal, an Aishwarya Rai look-alike, in Lucky?). What's more, Isabel even shares Katrina's surname, Kaif! Well, she would share the surname, but not Katrina's boyfriend Salman. That's bvecause she is one of the seven Kaif sisters, and Katrina happens to be one of them READ MORE

Ash and Eva Hit Cannes !!!

Are Ash and Eva the newest bffs to hit tinseltown? Well judging from these pics of the two at the Cannes Film Festival opening night, seems like they're pretty chummy to us! Both Ash and Eva were there as brand ambassadors for L'Oreal, for which they both do ad campaigns for.

These lovely ladies look gorgeous together... How about co-starring in a film together? We'd definitely watch that one!

I'm proud of my sculpted body: Kareena Kapoor,

She's undisputably the number one actress in Bollywood. Kareena Kapoor is not only the highest paid but also the most in demand actress with her line up of prestigious releases starting with Yashraj's magnum opus Tashan, releasing this week.

Says a trade expert, "With Tashan, Kareena has established her clout in the industry. Even though the film hasn't done well, she still remains the number one actress in the country.

She has never looked so scorching hot before on screen and she has never been so good in a film! She positively sizzles. Even though the film hasn't done well, Kareena has made waves with her fiery performance and her ooh la la lime green bikini shot.

Bebo's never looked hotter. In fact the trade has given her a new nickname Czarina Kapoor as she positively rules the industry today."

Well, if King Khan is the 'Baazigar' among men, then the super-successful Kareena sure can be nick named Cazrina!

Name it and Kareena has it in her kitty, whether it is a list of A-grade projects under big banners, huge endorsements or modeling assignments, the actress is surely making it count when sun shines!!

And keeping her Numero Uno status intact is her next project with Aamir Khan no less! Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan are working together, and she's thrilled;

It's finally happening. Bollywood has put together the dream team of Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan for Rajkumar Hirani's film Idiots.

Kareena, who has signed on three big projects lately, including Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakht Ishq with Akshay Kumar, Renzel d'silva's untitled film with beau Saif Ali khan, is thrilled to be working with Aamir.

"It's a dream," she exclaimed, "we recently came close to working on two films together, Vishal Bhardwaj's Mr Mehta And Mrs Singh and Mani Ratnam's Lajjo, but it's finally happening now."

She is also looking forward to doing another film with Saif after Omkara and Tashan. "Renzil's film has a stunning script. " says she.

As for Tashan, she's worked really hard on the film and even lost weight to get the right look for Tashan.

Says Kareena" To be honest, I'm not a size zero. I'm sick of these reports claiming otherwise. I had to get this look for Tashan because the makers wanted me to get into character. Now I'm back to looking like before for my other films."

Weight no no weight, fact is that she's looking fab and feeling great. "I'm proud of my sculpted body. Why should I want to be like anyone else? I look no different from the way I looked earlier. I guess I'm just happy in life, and that shows," says Kareena.

Abhishek-Aishwarya to go to Cannes again

The world's largest film-producing nation may be missing from the official selection of the 61st Cannes Film Festival, which opens on May 14, but, as always, a sizeable Indian contingent will descend on the French Riviera over the next fortnight to promote a wide array of cinematic wares.

Leading the Indian charge will be evergreen star Dev Anand, whose 1965 super hit, Guide, is part of Cannes Classics, a section launched in 2004 to showcase restored or new prints of masterworks of the past.

Guide, directed by Vijay Anand, will be screened alongside such classics as Max Ophuls' Lola Montes (1955), Jean Cocteau's Orphee (1949) and the late Sri Lankan master Lester James Peries' Gamperaliya (1965), among several other timeless gems.

The only other Indian who will "officially" participate in the Cannes film festival this year is the Mumbai-based movie critic and writer, Anupama Chopra.

She is on the jury of the 'Un Certain Regard sidebar', which is a section of the festival's official section. The five-member jury is headed by Turkish-German filmmaker Fatih Akin and includes a critic each from Russia and Egypt.

On the sidelines of the glitzy festival, in the supercharged Cannes Film Market, a host of Bollywood corporate entities will unveil a slew of new products and announce their respective plans for the future.

Spearheading the Indian movie industry this year is Reliance Big Entertainment (RBE), the showbiz arm of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG).

Among other things, RBE is understood to have drawn up plans to announce its formal foray into the international movie business with a clutch of films starring A-list Hollywood stars.

In Cannes, the company will also announce a tie-up with Amitabh Bachchans production company, ABCL, in which RBE has bought a sizeable stake (reportedly worth around Rs 200 crore).

RBE, which will be represented in Cannes by several top-level honchos, is expected to also launch multiple movie deals with leading Mumbai filmmakersFarhan Akhtar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sudhir Mishra.

Besides unveiling its Rs 60-crore animation film, Sultan The Warrior, made in conjunction with Soundarya Rajnikanth's Chennai-based Ocher Studios, RBE is likely to premiere Harry Baweja's Love Story 2050 and Rituparno Ghosh's Bengali film starring Bipasha Basu, Sab Charitra Kalpanik, in the Cannes Film Market.

Another key player in the Indian entertainment space, Eros International, will be in the Cannes Film Market to push Sarkar Raj, God Tussi Great Ho and Drona. The company is also expected to announce a long-term strategic alliance with a major Hollywood studio.

Shemaroo Entertainment will premiere its ambitious animation film, Ghatotkach The Master of Magic, revolving around the mythic adventures of Bheema's son. Also participating in the Cannes Film Market are companies like Moser Baer and Saregama Films.

With the Bachchans figuring prominently in many of the Indian events planned for Cannes, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya, who is a brand ambassador of French cosmetics giant L'Oreal, one of the main sponsors of the Cannes Film Festival, are likely to fly into town to flag off ABCL's alliance with Reliance and promote Sarkar Raj.

Why would we do it for publicity: Arbaaz Khan

Always jovial off-screen, Arbaaz Khan turned angry while attending a press conference for his upcoming film Woodstock Villa.

The actor, the brother of a troubled Bollywood star and the husband of a sexy Bolly-babe, Arbaaz, clarifies his controversially good married life, shares bits of Salman’s entry into television and of course, has more to say about his appearance in his upcoming flick Woodstock Villa…

Q. Please brief us the story of Woodstock Villa.
A. It is a Hansal Mehta film about swiftly changing moralities in today's world. After the disappearance of a successful businessman's stunning wife, hostile and taunting ransom demands follow.

As the true nature of stakes for the captor and his captives unfold, Woodstock Villa lithely transforms from a precise neo noir into a chilling and shocking thriller, and ultimately into a vivid, invigorating, icy masterpiece of murder, mystery and suspense.

Neither pleading eyes nor bound wrists nor a shallow grave are what they seem, as a moment of relief is suddenly transformed into a web of deceit, and a moment of truth is followed by a sudden web of lies.

Unsettling, thrilling, hallucinatory, suspenseful and erotic, Woodstock Villa is contemporary entertainment that breaks new ground with every twist.

Q. Tell us about your character in the film.
A. Well, the character's name is Shrin who is a businessman and loves his wife. There are incidents and moments in the film which brings out certain amount of frustration out of this character due to blackmail, lust, adultery, ransom and a lot of elements involved in his life which are very complicated. You can call the film a dark thriller.

Q. How was it working with Sikandar Kher and Neha Oberoi?
A. They are new and fresh in this industry and are very talented, too. It was good working with them because you rarely get to see such confident, talented and prepared actors in their first films.

There was never a moment when I could feel that they were struggling with what they wanted to do. They are wonderful.

Q. Please share your experience working with the director Hansal Mehta…
A. Oh! He is very clear, dedicated and focused director. There wasn’t any problem working with him because he is always ready with solutions. He is very expressive, too.

He is the guy who would narrate to you what he expects from the character. He is very dedicated and will not compromise with anything, even if he has to shoot a single scene for the whole day. He does not care about anything but good work.

Q. What is the USP of Woodstock Villa?
A. The fragmentation in the story and the relationship that has been shown in the screenplay, in terms of styling, techniques and presentation, is very different. All I can say is that, it's a very interesting film.

Q. What do you have to say on the controversies that rumored across media regarding the split between you and your wife Mallaika Arora?
A. I don't know from where did it all started. Neither I nor Malaika said anything regarding this.

Actually, we were launching a product which had a tag-line, ‘because of the use of the product husband again falls in love with his wife and he proposes her to re-marry her’. It served as a spice for the media persons and this became news that Arbaaz is getting re-married.

I don't have a clue about it and later, media declared about it to be a publicity stunt. Why would we do so for publicity? Rather being from a filmy family we would have run away from media if we, in fact, had any problems.

Q. Can we hope to see you and Mallaika together in a full fledged film?
A. As of now, we are not into any such thing. But yes, she has an item number in a film where I, too, have a role to play.

Q. Do you think that Salman Khan will be able to give a good competition to Shah Rukh Khan on television?
A. I don't know about it at all because neither Salman nor Shah Rukh will think of all these. They do everything in their own style and never try to do something over one another.

For Salman, it is a new thing and we hope he does it well as you all know that Salman leaves his mark in everything he does, so will he here, also. There will be mistakes, fun etc. and at the end of the day it is Salman all over.

Q. The other projects you are working in?
A. I am acting in Bobby Gupta’s Stoneman, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion and in a Sohail Khan Production film Kissan. - Sabir Rahman

I was asked to pose in a bikini: Sonal Chauhan

Bhatt camp has again introduced another face to the tinsel town. The bubbly, Sonal Chauhan, is excited with her debuting character opposite Emraan in Bhatt’s latest flick “Jannat”.

The path to jannat was not so easy yet not so tough for the model turned actor Sonal. Let’s share her bit of journey to the success-dome, forthcoming film “Jannat”, Emraan Haashmi and little more…

Q.: “Miss World Tourism” in 2005 and then films. How was the journey?
A.: Actually, the year I won the honour, offers for films started coming in my way. Amongst them were offers for “Show Biz” and “Awarapan” from Mahesh Bhatt which I let down.

After that he offered me for “Jannat”. I liked the story of the film as well as the character I was offered to portray. Then I signed contract for three films with Mahesh Bhatt.

Q.: Please tell us about your character and the film.
A.: The name of my character in the film is Joya. She belongs to a small town but her outlook is that of twenty first century.

The most important thing about the character is that she is not weak at all. It’s accepted that being in love we start supporting the lover all the while and even at the time he attempts something wrong. But she is not a girl like that.

She raises her voice against odds even though the man behind that is her boyfriend. She is a bold character. But please, don’t take the word bold for any other meaning.

Q.: In your real life, how are you affected with your character?
A.: I am truly affected with this character. As human beings, we do learn something everyday in and out. And I guess every film will teach me new things as with each film I’ll have chance to play new characters.

As far as Joya is concerned, the character has taught me a lot. I love my family exactly the way Joya loves her family. My family is the biggest weakness I have.

Q.: You have signed a contract with Mahesh Bhatt. Does it include anything like you cannot work outside Bhatt camp?
A.: Not at all. I didn’t sign the contract under any such pressure. Recently, I have signed an unnamed film by Kumar Mangat. On the other hand, my Telugu film “Rambo” will be released in the next month.

Q.: How is your experience working with Emraan?
A.: Thankfully, it was nice working with him. Despite been so experienced, he never let me realize that I am novice in the industry. (Smiling) Fortunately, he tried playing prank with me but in vain. Probably I am much intelligent than what he thought me to be.

Q.: What was the prank about?
A.: We went to somewhere for the promotion of the film and I remember that Emraan tried to mix something to my juice. But he failed. At the same time we decided to frighten one of the unit members every night.

The best way we decided on was to fly away after giving some blank knocks at the doors. One day others tried the same idea on me and realizing it was a prank I didn’t open the door that night.

Q.: Which scene, in the movie, was the most memorable and which was the most tough to act in?
A.: The pole dancing was the toughest part for me in the film. There were few beautiful Russian pole dancers around me.

I watched them dancing and realized about how poor I was performing. But, whatever, the experience was quite memorable to me.

Q.: “Jannat” is specially accepted as a bookies’ film which is absolutely cricket-centric. How much screen space is there for Joya in the film?
A.: The film is publicized in the way that makes people think about it as bookies’ film. But the fact is the love story between Emraan and me occupies the most area of the film and cricket hardly has a part to play on. The love story between us is depicted so well that people will surely relate that to their love.

Q.: How was your reaction while you came to know that you have to act opposite Emran?
A.: (Smiling) How should be my reaction! My interest was more in the story and my character than the co-star I was going to act with.

Knowing about my character was far more important to me than to concentrate on bed scenes and kissing scenes. I am happy that I am not a showpiece in this film. And I must make clear that the film has not a single kissing and bed scene.

Better you watch the film and conclude whether the film has any kissing and intimate scene.

Q.: You are looking quite hot in the promo of the film. What’s your opinion?
A.: Everyone is telling me that I am looking very hot in the promo of the film. Let me ask you, what is the meaning of the word hot?

I am totally covered in dress in the promo. I either am in jeans and baggy short or in simple looking top. I have not shot a single scene where I am in bikini or in such a condition that I cannot watch with my family.

I was asked for both the things which I have rejected. Still, I cannot understand the reason behind people addressing me hot babe!

Q.: What would you like to say about Vishesh Films?
A.: I am grown up watching films by Vishesh Films. They not only portray their heroines beautifully but also concentrate on beautiful songs. Along with me, most of the people like their songs.

At the same time they go for very realistic subjects, too. I am feeling really lucky being a part of their film. As far as rejecting films like “Show Biz” and “Awarapan” is concerned, the stories of those films were not too appealing to me.

However, I must mention that I am quite a confused person. I take time deciding on any matter but I guess there is some secret power that helps me making my mind up.

Q.: Leaving “Jannat”, what would be the other film, from the Bhatt camp, which you would feel happy acting in?
A.: “Woh Lamhe”, without any hesitation. The film didn’t work well at the box office but it’s a different issue altogether. I hope Bhatt sahab will consider me a chance if he goes for any such subject again.

Q.: Would you like to pose as item girl in films?
A.: I don’t think I have features like item girls. So, the question itself is quite baseless.
